My Digital Studio Mondays – Established Elegance

Oh Spring can you please show up… took me three hours to shovel out last night… I am aching for a nice warm late spring day and wanted to do a scrapbook layout that reminded me of a nice late spring/ early summer memory from last summer… I had a sweet magical visitor fly in to my sunny front porch… I was so surprised how friendly she was… and so pretty… I found a scrapbook pagemap that featured the dressmaker form in the Established Elegance set… just the layout I needed to honor this moment…

Inkspiration #2 – Ice Cream Shoppe Colors

Oh to have ice cream sitting at an ice cream parlor shoppe bar … can you smell the waffle cones cooking?  So many colors for your eyes to feast on… thought I would share a few sweet treats that you may find at the ice cream shoppe…

Inkspiration #1 – Think Perfect Spring Day…

Gosh can you feel it?  Spring is peeking right around the corner… I am thinking of colors such as sunny blue skies, blue hydrangeas and green leaves gently budding from the slumbering winter trees… I thought I would inkspire you with a few of Stampin’ Up!’s colors:  Midnight Muse, Pool Party and Gumball Green… get inkspired and make something today with these colors… Here’s what I made:

Oh I wish you could see this card – it truly sparkles softly… I used the 101910 – Shimmering White card stock to stamp the image on and the card base.  And Yes! I gave you another sneak peek at a Sale-a-bration gift – the Midnight Muse ribbon on the cute hanger clip from the 129389 – Hung Up Clip set in the 2013 Spring Catalog… I used 102023 – Dazzling Diamonds  Stampin’ Glitter to softly glitter the entire polka dot areas of the dress from the 2013 Spring Catalog Stamp Set – 129174 All Dressed Up.

I really enjoy creating envelopes with Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper and the 2013 Spring Catalog’s 129311 – Tea for Two Designer Paper is such eye candy… and to make the envelop pop I cut 1/4 of the 129399 – Paper Doilies and tucked it into the back of the envelop!  What a quick and easy way to bless someone…

The saying on the card is from another sneak peek as a 2013 Sale-a-bration gift set – Vintage Verses… so pretty…

To finish off the dress and make the dress ultra feminine, I used the 119247 – Pearl Basic Jewels…

I hand cut the dress and the Vintage Verse stamped image out using the super sharp 103579 – Paper Snips Scissors… hint: as you cut, move the paper around the curves instead of moving the scissors around the paper… you will get a cleaner smoother cut!

I hope YOU can try to make this one… it was quick and fun!
