Intermediate – Iris Paper Folding

For the March Stamp-a-Sack I thought I would challenge us a bit 🙂 and make something utterly beautiful and feminine… this card picture does not do this card justice… it is truly stunning with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Whisper White and Pink Pirouette 5/8″ Taffeta Ribbons… very very fun… took a little patience but gosh did it pay off!

For the April Stamp-a-Sack we will make this again with a different pattern for a very nice Mother’s Day card…  You can find the square iris folding template here:  http://www.mykindaliving.com/crafting/paper/iris-folding-patterns.shtml (just scroll down to the square template 🙂 )!

The stamp set I used is the Everybunny Stamp set…  I colored the bunny in using the watercolor pencils and a blender pen… I also used a cute little basic pearl for his nose!  This first row of the iris folding is cardstock and the rest is our beautifully soft 5/8″ taffeta ribbon!

Blessings… I hope YOU can try to make this one… it will take about 30-45 minutes to make this card depending on how fast you work through the iris folding template… but WOW will be what the receiver of this card will say!
