Fast and Fabulous – Lucky Leprechaun

Wow we had so much fun at the March Stamp’ a Sack!!! Here’s a cute party favor I gave my stampers – it’s a really cute Leprechaun made with the Owl Punch!  I used the Stampin’ Silver Glitter paper and an awesome digital download – 129930 – Lucky Framable Designer Template – Digital Download… isn’t the owl adorable?  I stuffed the sour cream container with two andes mints and a lotto ticket!!! We didn’t win $$ but we met more friends which to me is worth more than the lotto ticket!

I got this fabulous idea from the following uber talented ladies:

I used the itty bitty punch (clover) to make a cute clover for his ear!  I snipped off one of the petals!

This gift took no more than 15 minutes to make:

1. Download the Lucky Framable digital download.

2. Create a 8 1/2 x 11 ” journal/page project using the Lucky Framable template in My Digital Studio.

3. Select the Lucky Framable image and resize it to 4 1/4″ wide and 5 1/2″ wide and place in left corner of canvas.

4. Copy the resized image and place in next corner of canvas.  Do this two more times and place each copied resized image in each corner.  You should see your canvas full of the Lucky Framable image.

5.  Print on 8 1/2 by 11 whisper white card stock.

6. Cut into 4 1/4″ w by 5 1/2″ h rectangles… you should have four now…!

7.  Create the owl by punching out the owl on basic black, silver glitter and old olive cardstock.

8. Using the itty bitty punch, punch out a clover and snip one of the petals of the clover off.

9. Assemble the owl leprechaun as show in the picture – for eyelids you can cut an circle in half.   For the eyes you can use the googlie eyes or just use the owl punch eyes.

10. using the large scallop circle punch, punch a basic gray scallop circle.

To Assemble:

1. Follow this Awesome Dawn Griffith tutorial to create the sour cream container using the Lucky Frameable paper:

2. Using a glue dot or two, affix the owl onto the basic gray scallop circle.

3. Punch a small hole in the sour cream container and then punch a small hole in the scallop circle and thread linen thread through and tie with knot.

Inkspirations:

– make a bunch using different designer papers and coordinate the owl’s shirt with the designer paper!!!

Blessings… I hope YOU can try to make this one… it was quick and fun!
