Fast and Fabulous – Have a Cupcake or two, three… with the Cupcake Builder Punch by Stampin’ Up!

Oh boy what do I see… three mini cupcakes as sweet as can be… why don’t you grab your cupcake builder punch and stamp with me?  You can really sweeten the deal with the vanilla shimmer smooch spritz spray… remember a smooch spritz a day keeps the doctor away!

Using the vanilla shimmer smooch spray, you can really make these cupcakes stand out and glisten!  Assemble the cupcakes and BEFORE you place them on the card and BEFORE you add the ribbon bows, spray each of them with the vanilla shimmer smooch spray and then let dry!  Do two coats for that extra touch!

This card took no more than 15 minutes to make:

1. Cut whisper white cardstock 4 1/4″ x 11″… fold in half (5 1/2″) so that you have a vertical card.

2. Cut whisper white cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″ and using the Lacey Brocade embossing Folder, emboss the cardstock.

3. Punch 3 cupcake bottoms using the cupcake builder punch and your favorite designer paper (I used the new Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack from Spring catalog)

4. Punch 3 cupcake tops using the cupcake builder punch and whisper white cardsock. Sponge the 3 cupcake tops with regal rose classic ink.

5. Punch three small circles for each cupcake using the cupcake builder punch and a coordinating cardstock from Stampin’ Up! (I used regal rose).

6. Create 3 small bows using a coordinating Stampin’ Up! Ribbon.  I used 1/8″ regal rose taffeta ribbon. (sooo pretty…)

7. Attach the cupcake top to the cupcake bottom using your favorite adhesive – do this 3 times. (I used mini glue dots).

8. Attach the 3 small circles to the cup cake tops using your favorite adhesive – do this three times.

9. Spray the assembled cupcake with Vanilla Smooch Shimmer Spray – do this twice for each cupcake.  Let dray between sprays.  Make sure you hold the spray about 8 inches away so that you do not get pooling of spray on cupcakes.

10. When dry (takes about 5 minutes or so) Attach the small bow to the bottom of the cupcake using a mini glue dot – do this three times.

11. Assemble the card:

– Center the 4″ x 5 1/4″ embossed cardstock onto the card using snail adhesive.

– Put the center cupcake on first!!! Make sure it is horizontally and vertically centered on the card using stampin dimensionals.

– Put the remaining cupcakes on next… make sure they are aligned with the center cupcake using stampin dimensionals.

12. Pick out your card saying and stamp it on whisper white cardstock and punch out using desired punch shape.  Affix to card using stampin dimensionals.

Inkspirations:

– make a bunch of cupcakes and keep in your stash of embellishments when you need to make a quick card.

– punch out the cherry in the cup cake builder with coordinating designer series paper – affix to cup cake before you smooch spray it.  After you spray it add a pearl or rhinestone to glam it up!

Blessings… I hope YOU can try to make this one… it was quick and fun!
