Stamp Showcase: Hearts a Flutter with Loving Thoughts provide Established Elegance!

Techniques and tips:

Add Shimmer:
- Use the tip of the embossing pen to outline the large heart with frost white shimmer paint, just dip into paint and dot the heart.
- Use shimmery white cardstock instead of the traditional whisper white card stock to provide a more romantic look
- Use vanilla shimmer smooch to add shimmer on the Top Note card, Large Heart Shape, Crown and banner… spritz each piece individually AFTER you stamp the image and cut out shape.

Add Dimension:
- Use stampin’ dimensionals to provide the crown and large heart dimension.
- Stamp a word or phrase on a small slip of cardstock and create a banner, roll the edges of the banner up to create dimension.
Make Vintage
- Use early espresso ink with a sponge to provide a vintage look on the edges or the heart, stamp with early espresso ink instead of black ink.
- Use regal rose ink with a sponge dauber to color the tips of the new 5/9″ flower trim.
- Use a small antique brad and 5/8″ crochet trim ribbon to create a bow and affix to hat pin.
Make Special
- Use an envelope template and Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper (I used twitterpated) and create an envelop and affix a rose at the bottom of the envelop lip.
